On Sunday September 11th, Jacob B, son of Dwayne and Jennifer, was presented with his Eagle Scout Award. The Eagle rank is the top most rank in the Boy Scouts of America program whose mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Jacob is currently a member of Troop 43, sponsored by the Lions Club of Lake Stevens, but he started his Scouting career as a young boy with our own Cub Scout Pack 88, which our Club has sponsored since the Pack's formation 22 years ago. We are very proud of his accomplishment. He is pictured here with his parents and Bob Aikman, who was an active leader in both Pack 88 and Troop 43. Dwayne is the current Scoutmaster of Troop 43.

At the Court of Honor, which was held at Hope Foursquare Church in Snohomish, Jacob presented a Mentor Pin to James Monroe who was Jacob's Den Leader all through Cub Scouts. James serves our Club as the Chartered Organization Representative which is the liaison to the Leaders of the Cub Scout Pack and the local Scout Council. James reported afterwards that he was very humbled by the recognition.

Congratulations Jacob! We know you have a bright future ahead of you.
