District Foundation Dinner

District 5050 Foundation Dinner - Nov 7th

Interested in attending the District Foundation dinner on November 7th, let our President know of your interest.

This message is going out to the District 5050 Presidents, last year's Past Presidents and the District 5050 leadership team. Attached you will find a flyer to share with your club at meetings, on your club website, in your newsletter and hopefully in an individual email. We would love to see 6 members from each club out to support and receive recognition from our Foundation. It is not a fundraiser but rather acknowledgement of our 58 clubs efforts in our communities and in the world. 

 

As president, please promote the event at your meetings with that goal of 6 members attending. 

 

We have great speakers lined up and promise not to bore!

 

a) Speaker 1:  Vicki Puliz - Trustee, The Rotary Foundation 2025-2029 (VP)

     Speaker 2:  Liliane Boualam - Secretariat - WHO (Geneva)  speaking on her team's work with global polio vaccine virus containment

 

b) Present also will be Dean Rohrs past RIVP and head of our District Foundation Team

    Dr. R Lee Harman and Miss Vicky back from an Alberta, BC and Washington State tour. https://missvickychallenge.com/

    White Rock Ambassadors - youth in an incredible training program of confidence, poise and leadership

   Semiahmoo Secondary Jazz Band with live soft jazz background music. 

 

c) Our White Rock Rotary sponsored Peace Scholar Alison McLean, an award winning documentarian, will unveil a Peace Pole. 

 

d)  2 exciting MC's  Piya Sandhu and Sean Hogan!

 

e) Seriously Good Catering (that is the company name and it's true) will provide a delicious buffet dinner with soft drinks, coffee and tea. 

 

f ) A cash bar will be available.
