This past Friday also saw several of our Cub Scouts visit. They began the Rotary Meeting by leading the Pledge of Allegiance. James Monroe, Chartered Organization Representative, introduced David LeDuc as the new Cubmaster. Steve Becker has had to step down after a few years as Cubmaster. The Pack will be going on a Campout this weekend to Fire Mountain Scout Camp near Big Lake in Skagit County. While there, the Scouts will move up to the next Cub Scout program level in a special ceremony. This is an exciting time for the boys as they advance through the Scouting program with the goal of becoming a Boy Scout. the Pack is hosting a pot luck lunch at Noon at Fire Mountain. If you would like to join the Pack (and could potentially bring something to share) let James know. All are welcome to the moving up ceremony which begins at 1 pm. The Camp is about 45 minutes north of Lake Stevens off of Highway 9 at milepost 47 and 2 1/2 miles east on Walker Valley Road.

The Scouts will be participating in several activities over the summer. Cub Scout Day Camp is in early July at a nearby park. If you would like to visit our Scouts during the Day Camp, please contact James Monroe for dates, times and location information. Later in July we will see them lead off the Children's Parade during Aquafest. Come out and support our future leaders!
