The September 21st Club Meeting was the monthly Club Assembly. Club Directors reviewed their areas of responsibility after another wonderful fines and Happy Bucks session led by Sargent At Arms Dave Johnson. Thank you, Dave, for spreading the wealth.

Membership- there's a District 5050 Membership Seminar on Saturday, October 13th in Mount Vernon. Some folks are going; others are encouraged. We need to grow our Club this Rotary year by 10%--which means we add three new members.

Homeless Student Grant Fundraiser- $1,130 was brought in at the meeting bringing the total collected so far to $9,731! Just need $269 to reach our goal!

Community Service- A big Thank You to those that helped on last week's Community Supper at Ebenezer Lutheran. Next year's dates are March 19th and September 21st.

New Generations- Richelle Cantu, Cub Scout Pack 88 Committee Chair, and her two sons stopped by to promote the Boy Scout Popcorn Fundraiser. Your support of this helps the Pack provide a quality program for the boys. She invited everyone to the first Pack Meeting of the year--Sunday, Sept 23, 2:30 pm at the South Lake Stevens Grange.

Club Service- A team will be meeting later this afternoon to prepare the storage shed for the parade float. After that a team will be working on the storage locker cleaning it up and making better use of the space. James also gave an overview of the News section of the website specifically on the Quotes and Thoughts. Click the headers to find out who said them.
