Rick Miller and Ilene Levering gave Classification Talks on May 4th.  Rick joined our club in July 2017. Ilene joined in November 2017.
 
 
Rick lives in Palm Springs for six months and the balance of the year is in Lake Stevens. He was a contractor until he got burned out. At age 44 he semi-retired from his landscape construction business in Fall City. He retired from the landscape business due to a intermittent health issues. Now Rick spends his time involved in on-line longevity, weight management and wellness business. His passion is to help as many people live with optimum health and longevity as well as help people diversity their income. Another business that Rick is involved in is Shop.com. He enjoys pickle ball, hiking, travel, biking and daily one hour at the Lake Stevens Gym.  His mom and dad were involved in time shares and his dad worked at Boeing. At 86, his dad is still active.
 
Ilene was born in California and has a sister that is six years younger. Ilene was a mortgage broker for 26 years and has been married for 27 years. Ilene met her husband in Nevada when he was in the Navy.  After the mortgage broker business, she became involved with the American Cancer Society for eight years and now is the Development Director with the Stanwood Community & Senior Center.  Ilene and her husband Tom Ficca live in Lake Stevens. Ilene owns a 1976 Jeep CJ7 and performs most of her own maintenance including changing wheel bearings, upgrading her brakes and adding power steering and much more.  In her spare time she has done the Rubicon Trail and Moab along with local trails like the Naches, Reiter Trails, Evans Creek, Walker Valley and Elbe Hills. She has been a member of the Timber Tamers for over 10 years along with the PNW4WDA.
