Kevin O'Brien was sworn in as the President of the Rotary Club of Lake Stevens on Sunday, June 24th at a ceremony at the Annual Meeting and Installation Banquet by outgoing President Randy Celori. Kevin will serve through the new year from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. Kevin is the Chief of the Lake Stevens Fire Department.

Paul Harris Awards
President Randy Celori presented Paul Harris awards to Kevin O'Brien for his outstanding service this past year and to Mayor John Spencer for his outstanding community leadership.
 
   
 
Distinguished Service Award
Chris Vallo was given the Distinguished Service Award for his dedication and commitment to scheduling outstanding speakers each week as well as his availability for numerous other functions.
 
 
Rotarian of the Year
Reshal Ploeger was award the Club's top honor as Rotarian of the Year for being a committed Rotarian, a masterful organizer and marketing expert and key fundraising event organizer and daily publishing the Club's social media updates. Reshal's efforts produced a highly successful AquaFest Duck Dash last year and record setting Corks and Kegs event in April. Thank you, Reshal, for your dedication and fellowship. You are amazing!!!
