Cav Mid-High Robotics Team

Ron Moag, Associate Principal, Lake Stevens High School and Lake Stevens School District CTE Director, talked to our club about the Cavelero Mid High School Ropbotics Team followed by a request for a contribution to help off-set the team's cost which are not covered by the School District. The Cavelero Robotics Team this year has had quite a successful season to date. One of the teams, "Wookies" (pictured) has competed in three different competitions since late November. The first competition they made it all the way to the quarter-finals, then in February they competed in another competition and came away winning. The most recent competition was at the Western Washington State Competition down in Bellevue--where they placed 2nd overall out of 60 teams.This qualified them for the World's VEX Robotics Competition in Anaheim California the last week in April. This will be against over 400 teams throughout the world. They are amazing in what they have accomplished in such a short time frame.
