AquaFest 2014

A special thank you to Tracy for all of the dedicated work on our booth and Duck Dash tickets sales. Likewise, special thanks to Terri, Steve and Kirstie for running the Diaper Dash. All of the workers during the week-end festival did a fantastic job selling, cooking and serving those delicious corn on the cob. And again thanks to Tracy, Bill and John for securing some fabulous sponsors (see article below) who make the Duck Dash a successful event each year. We want to recognize Loren and Lorna for keeping track of the Duck Dash sales  Ticket sales are  another part of the life blood of our annual Duck Dash celebration and thanks to DJ, John, Bill and James for their contribution. Getting ready for the Duck Dash race involved Jim Steinruck, John and Darek as well as setting up the finish line and picking up all of the ducks after the race. Great Job everyone.  Whenever you single out specific people, you always miss someone and for that I apologize.

This year's winner of the Duck Dash race are: 1st Place: Carla Wells;  2nd Place: Dean Franz;  3rd Place: Dean Franz and 4th Place: Patty Hanson.  All of the winners have been contacted by your President. Voice mail message has been left on Patty Hanson's cellphone. Carla Wells cannot make it to this weeks meeting but will be there next week. Dean Franz will be at the meeting and still waiting word from Patty Hanson. Congratulations to all of the winners.

Now is the time to think about continued improvements to our AquaFest booth, Diaper Dash and Duck Dash. Diaper Dash certainly needs their own banner. Pickles may be a thing of the past. Little ideas like that help us set up for next year.
