8th Annual Bikes for Tykes

On Saturday, December 19th members of the Club distributed bicycles and tricycles to 175 children in the Lake Stevens and Granite Falls communities. The distribution was held at Ebenezer Lutheran Church from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
The Lake Stevens Food Bank, local elementary schools and the Lake Stevens Family Center identify children in the community whose families cannot afford a new or slightly used bicycle. This is the 8th year that the our Club has sponsored the Bikes for Tykes program. Funds are raised through local individual donations, as well as donations from Rotary Club members. Plus, individuals donate their like new bikes to the Club for distribution to these families as well.
Our Club acknowledges the support of the Lake Stevens School District, the Granite Falls School District, the Lake Stevens Food Bank, the Lake Stevens Family Center and the generous support from community members.
