1st & 3rd Rotarians in Action

Rotarians in Action met this past Tuesday and put forth a Community Project idea plan that includes the following:
  1. Swim Beach -- Bench for Anna Marie Lopez-pulling garden weeds/clean up and paint.
  2. Hungry Hearts -- Christmas support.
  3. Beautification of Lake Stevens -- need ideas
  4. Shane McDaniels project of delivering firewood
  5. Help Out at Community Food Bank
  6. Sherwood Community Center
Kyle reported that Amy gave a classification talk this past Friday morning and Chris Martin is scheduled for October 15th.
 
Club business discussed at the meeting included: utilizing ClubRunner to send out meeting invites to our Tuesday evening meetings; Create social media events inviting people to join.
 
The next meeting is on Tuesday, October 19th at 5:30 pm at possibly North Shore Swimming Beach-pulling garden weeds and spreading sand. Kyle says to be sure to dress for the weather conditions and bring gloves.
 
The Tuesday evening meeting adjourned at 6:30 pm.
