KNHC 89.5 FM - probably the most famous radio station in Seattle is staffed by high school students

C89.5 is celebrating it's 50th year in operation this year.  With hundreds of thousands of listeners, it is one of the few stations in the country who's play list includes those destine to become future stars like Lady Gaga.  The station's multi-million dollar studios are located at Nathan Hale High School in north Seattle, where the students have a hand in calling the shots when deciding what's hot...and what's not.  June will explain the roots of the station and provide insight into what its like to lead what has proven to be a miracle story.  Don Iverson might lend some assistance as he was a student DJ at the station during its first three years of operation.
