Lake Stevens Rotarians,
I would like to extend a personal invitation to join me for a tour of YMCA Camp Casey on Whidbey Island the morning of Friday, June 6th. This visit would be a great opportunity to experience firsthand the powerful impact this facility has on youth and families in our region.
Camp Casey provides inspiring group getaways, youth development programs, and overnight summer camps that serve both Island and Snohomish County. It is a remarkable example of the kind of resource that strengthens communities, builds resilience in young people, and promotes health and connection across generations.
I believe a visit to Camp Casey would provide valuable perspective as we continue to explore opportunities to expand YMCA programming and presence in our own community. We will have approximately an hour tour of the beautiful property and its amenities by Chief Development Officer, Jennifer Willows and the CEO of the Y of Snohomish County, Payton Tune.
Below is our Group Itinerary for your reference.
I have also included an optional Whidbey Island Day Guide if you would like to enjoy more of the island, and a few lunch recommendations too.
Or, you can plan on just getting back to the mainland by lunchtime and getting on with our day.
Either way, I do promise it will be really fun 🙂 and you will be impressed!
