In celebration of Earth Day 2022, the Lake Stevens and Arlington Rotary Club's will be planting trees as part of a Native Growth Protection Area (NGPA) restoration project on Aprli 23rd. In 2021 Arlington Rotary planted 135 trees in Section 1 of this NGPA restoration area, this year we wil be planting trees in Section 2. Please invite your family and friends, wear some work clothes and work shoes, bring gloves and a shovel for a fun day of planting trees and hanging out with friends. A requirement for this event is 25% of the participants need to be non-Rotarians, so we need to recruit lots of outside help.
The planting will take place at Arlington Stormwater Wetland Park, 1100 West Avenue, Arlington, WA 98223 from 8:00AM to 1:00PM
We will be signing up on the Arlington ClubRunner site.
