County Fair

Frances joined the Skagit County Fair with a decade of Fair Industry experience working at Fairs in California and Washington, most recently the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose, CA and Northwest Washington Fairgrounds in Lynden. On those stops she has experience in facility rentals, vendors, education, outreach, marketing and really, all things Fair! She also has experience in agriculture education in a non-traditional setting and farm tour organization. She comes with an FFA background obtaining an American FFA Degree, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education and Communications from California State University, Fresno.

She remains professionally active with a number of industry organizations; a recent Leadership Skagit Alumni, is a board member of the Washington Ag in the Classroom non-profit organization, the Washington representative of the Young Professionals Alliance with Western Fairs Association and a graduate of the Institute of Fair Management from the International Association of Fairs and Expositions.
