The ribbon cutting ceremony for the Burlington Story Trail Project took place on Thursday, June 18 at the Port of Skagit walking trail. The Story Trail was made possible by fundraising efforts of the Burlington Library Foundation and the Burlington Rotary Club. A combined $10,000 was raised to provide funding for the project. The Burlington Story Trail is a joint project of the Burlington Library Foundation, the Burlington Rotary Club, and Port of Skagit. Located at the Port of Skagit, the trail parking area is on the corner of Higgins Airport Way and Ovenell Road (just across from Viva Farms). Click here to view more photos from the event.
