Friendship House

Jason Wells is the Executive Director of Skagit Friendship House, leading the county's shelter and housing programs after twenty-five years as a Navy officer, including service as Chief of Staff for the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group. A former Friendship House board member and Anacortes Housing Authority Commissioner, he holds an MBA from the University of Maryland, studied public finance at Harvard's Kennedy School, and today serves on Mount Vernon's Planning Commission advisory committee, the CReAT policy committee, and with the VFW in Anacortes — where he lives with his wife and two kids.
