Be an Angel: Bring Laughter and Joy to Our Young Neighbors in South Los Angeles
The Rotary Club of Los Angeles 5 and Rotary District 5280 are working together with the LA City Mayor's Office, LA City Recreation and Parks, churches, businesses and community volunteer groups to organize a Winter Wonderland event for the 2,500 underserved young children and their families in South LA. Fleet Street will be there and will need volunteers.
We are planning a pancake breakfast, carnival-like fun activities, health fair, resource fair, book fair and toys, book, and clothing giveaway. Rotarians and volunteers are encouraged to come with family and friends on December 6 to help. Volunteers must register in advance at District 5280 website.
