Doctor Neil McLeod, dentist, author and poet, is the principle of one of the oldest dental practices in Los Angeles. He came to America in 1974 as a Fulbright Scholar and was mentored by Dame Flora MacLeod of MacLeod, Dr. Harold Prieskel, Professor Bernie Levin and Dr. Peter K. Thomas.

An American citizen and performing poet Dr. McLeod is past president of the Beverly Hills Academy of Dentistry and the Wildfire Networking Club. He is a frequent dinner speaker. He has written a number of books, and most recently one on mentoring and it’s importance called “Letter From A Scottish Chief”. He has a love for his new American home.

Raised in Kenya and Britain during the decline of the colonial era, Dr. McLeod has a unique perspective on the importance of professional guidance and mentoring and America’s place in the world today. Both of these subjects will be addressed in his talk “Mentorship and Patriotism”.
