We are delighted that you are interested in joining the Rotary Club of Bellingham!  As the County's oldest and largest Club, we want to meet you and give you a chance to learn about us, and why we are honored to call ourselves Rotarians.
Membership in the Club follows a process intended to make any Member comfortable in our midst, while assuring us that all of us share a common goal of Service above Self.
The process typically can take 60-90 days in all. In general, here are the steps that are followed:
  • You can click the link below to contact our Club's Executive Secretary. She will connect you to a Member who will contact you, and lead you through the process;
  • You will be invited to be our guest at a meeting, and be introduced by that guiding Member;
  • After attending, if you and we are still interested in your joining us, you can expect  to be invited to several more meetings, and be asked to file an application with references.  The application will be reviewed by several committees who will also assign you a classification describing your business or professional activity, then it will be submitted to the Club's Board of Directors for approval.  If the Board approves, your name will be published in our bulletin for Member comments. Assuming this step proceeds, you will then be contacted and you'll be in!
