It was a beautiful warm Sunday to be out in nature. The joint Peace Committee of Calabasas and Woodland Hills arranged this event that we spent the morning touring the Malibu Creek Park with Docent Eduardo Estrada. We also heard the history of the tribes Tataviam and Chumash in our local area from a member of the tribe....Alan Salazar. There is history of the area including the famous backdrop of many movies and TV shows for the past 100 years. Thank you to our Peace Committee for arranging this wonderful day and our speakers who educated us on the history of our neighborhood park.
