History Timeine of the San Fernando Valley
Jackie Langa is the current Treasurer and previous President of The Museum of the San Fernando Valley, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit museum free to the public. A New York transplant since 1972 and Valley resident since 1982, Jackie has been an active Museum volunteer these past 11 years, championing many partnerships with Valley businesses, educational institutions and cultural groups. Jackie believes that the role of The Museum is to serve the Valley’s residents, businesses, students and tourists with historical honesty, preserve their past and enhance cultural pride while giving a voice to all.
Jackie will talk about topics from The Museum's new timeline and also share the Museum’s future needs and visions.
