The Rotary Club of Bishop volunteers once again reached out to members of the community with a special Easter time visit - leaving behind smiles on lots of faces and plenty of treats to be enjoyed.

Rotary member Kay O'Brien mobilized a group of volunteers to gather at her home and create more than 350 bags of Easter candies to be shared with folks that might not otherwise be receiving any - not to mention the pleasure of a personal visit.  The Easter bags were shuttled around Bishop to seniors at the Sterling Heights Assisted Living home; young and old at the Methodist Church Soup Kitchen; clients of the Eastern Sierra Friendship Center, an Alzheimer's Day Care facility; to residents at the Bishop Care Center; those gathered at the Bishop Senior Center in the city park; and to the residents at Progress House, home to mentally-challenged individuals.
