The Rotary Club of Bishop held its annual Sierra Safari starting with a cocktail reception Friday evening, Sept. 25th, all day outings with a fellowship dinner Sat. Sept. 26th and a trout breakfast held at Elk's park Sunday morning.  Rotarians from many different clubs in District 5260 came to enjoy our grand Sierra Mountain way of life.  Money is raised by selling tickets for gift basket donations from the other clubs in District 5260.  Jay Saltzman, current Governor for District 5260 with his wife ,Ferne, joined in the festivities plus held a Club Leadership Meeting at the Sunday Morning Breakfast.  A highlight of the Saturday evening dinner was Rotarian Tom Hallenbeck's extraordinary auctioneering talent in auctioning the framed original photographic print by Ed Nahin.  The print of the Bodie's old Methodist Church sold for $440.00 which will be used to fund the many Rotary Club of Bishop's charitable programs.
