Senior Pal Program

An orientation meeting was held October 8, 2008 for volunteers to visit and spend time with residents. Nurse Leslie Adams showed videos on Residents Bill of Rights, Legal Duty Being a Mandated Reporter of Abuse and about patient privacy. HIPAA Training Handbooks were given out along with Emergency Codes and Evacuation Routes. Rotarians attending were Ellen Siegal, Nancy Lowthrop, Wright Huntley, Kay O'Brien, Judi Heltebrake, Larry Clark, Lee Mizrahi, Ed Nahin, Pat Nahin, Suie Decker and Jenna Decker. Also attending were Terry O'Brien, Charles Petty and Tracy Tjernagel.
