Expertly planned by DeEtte Johnston and President Elect Maggie Kingsbury, the Wildflower Garden was transformed on Rotarians At Work Day, Saturday April 27th 2013 at Bishop City Park Community Gardens.
DeEtte and Maggie were joined by Rotarians Ellen Siegal, Sue Lyndes and her friend Jacqui Mileham who is visiting from England, (thanks Jac!), soil was turned, the garden mapped, wildflower seeds of sunflowers, cosmos, zinnias and marigold and wildflower mix sown and paths designated in just under two hours.
A big thank you to Patricia Ellis who delivered a case of water on what turned out to be a very warm morning.
