District 5260 Conference

The Rotary District 5260 Conference was held in Riverside, CA May 14 - 16, 2010. The Rotary Club of Bishop was represented by members Betty and Lewis McConnell, Brad Mettam, Pat and Ed Nahin, Kay and Terry O'Brien. Seven Awards were given to the Club.

Awards for large clubs - 25 and over members for our district -

Club Service: Best Single Project: Honorable Mention for Bishop Safari

Youth Services: 2nd Place - Youth Behind Bars

Youth Services: Best Overall - 2nd Place

International Service: Kay O'Brien spoke on "An Evening with Robert Waggoner"

International Service: All Clubs, Our Club - 3rd Place

International Service: Best Overall - 3rd Place

Vocational Service: Best Overall - 2nd Place

Vocational Service: Honorble Mention - Operation Snack Shack
