Rotary District 1790 GSE Team came all the way from France to meet with American Rotary members and give a presentation at the Rotary Club of Bishop's noon lunch Tuesday, May 5th.

The tem leader Cordula Hildebrandt, of Sarbrucken, Germany (on the border of France), introduced the GSE Team members, Maud, representing the International Wildlife Photo Festival of Montier-en-Der, France, Florent Renac, research scientist in the Computational Fluid Dynamics and Aeronacoustis Deprtment at ONERA in Paris, Colin Schertz, owner of a farm in a small village in France, and Sebastien Teitgen, a security manager in a small town, Yutz, France.   Each team member spoke in turn, describing themselves and providing information about their region's agriculture, history, cities, economy and tourism.  The Sunrise Rotary and Noon Rotary clubs hosted the team from France and concluded their Bishop visit by having a Cinco de Mayo party at the home of Dave and Vivian Patterson.  These visits from Rotarians from other countries are sponsored by The Rotary Foundation and are reportedly a very efective pillar to reinforce peace over the world.
