Bea Tomko celebrates 87th Birthday

Rotarians Bob and Bea Tomko celebrated Bea's 87th birthday by giving a gift to the Bishop Community. At the Tuesday December 29th noon Rotary Club meeting, the members celebrated Bea's 87th Birthday with a birthday cake and their version of a Birthday song. Both Bob and Bea are long time Rotarians. After the Birthday song, Bea and Bob presented a $500.00 check to The Bishop Rotary Foundation to President Kay O'Brien. They asked that these funds be used for the local disaster fund.
The Tomkos belong to the Rotary Club of Vista and are honorary members of the Rotary Club of Mammoth Lakes and The Rotary Club of Bishop. When they are living in their home in Aspendell above Bishop, they attend the Rotary Club of Bishop meetings at Whiskey Creek, meeting at noon every Tuesday. Bob and Bea Tomko are true Rotarians taking the motto "Service Above Self" very seriously.
