On February 28th.2019 we welcomed Ely Golvin to Rotary as a member of the Rotary Club of Surrey.  We look forward to jointly benefiting from his membership. Ely has a long history of volunteering.  Here is brief Bio so you can get to know him better.

Ely was born and raised in North Toronto. Throughout his childhood he participated in many charity events at school, which culminated with him earning the position of Director of Community Service for his High School. In this position he was responsible for heading a team of 20 student volunteers who organized a full year of charity events for the student body. Since then Ely has continued to participate in annual charity events such as the JDRF Ride for the Cure, and Pants off for Prostate Cancer.

Ely is a commercial real estate agent with Cushman & Wakefield representing owners of real estate on leasing and sales transactions with a focus on Surrey and Langley. Prior to starting his career as a real estate advisor, Ely achieved a B.A. (Hons) in History at University of British Columbia and completed a year-long exchange in Beijing where he studied Mandarin.
