VISIT TO CENTRAL CITY BREWING
This week we ventured out from the Golf Club to find out how beer is made at Central City Brewing the home of Red Racer Beer.
A great turnout of members and guests enjoyed the great food prepared in the restaurant then one of the assistant brew masters took us on our own personal tour and explained how from the Barley and Hops they produce their award wining brews. They were named the best Brewery in Canada in 2010.
Their awards are too numerous to list so just log onto their web page

Here are some photos taken during the tour First the Kettle where the brewing starts next the Original Casks that each took one Kettle of beer.
Then the Larger Casks that they use that hold 4 times as much fluid and their Award winning Pale Ale.
They have outgrown the facilities and are constructing a larger state of the art Brewery on Scott Road when it comes on line next summer. They will just make very special blends on the current site which will be piped up and served in the restaurant.
