Join us at the Shred-a-Thon event on October 23rd, 2021.
 
 
When and where is the event?
On October 23rd, 2021 at the North Surrey Secondary School 15945 96 Ave, Surrey, BC V4N 2R8 between 10 am and 2 pm.
 
How does it work?
 Drive thru event, easy and fast!
 
There will be a shredding truck rented from ShredWise and qualified personnel to operate the shredding machine.
  1. Pack all your shredding documents in boxes in the trunk of your car.
  2.  At the entrance of the parkade you will be greeted by our volunteers. They will guide you to the collection point and process the donation payment either cash or by credit card.
  3. At the collection point, pop open the trunk of your car. The volunteers will collect the boxes and safely shred the documents on the spot.
  4. Drive away and enjoy the rest of your day stress free!
 
COVID-19 procedures?
Face coverings are  mandatory for all participants and volunteers, there will be appropriate social distancing and minimal physical interactions.
 
Why should I shred?
Safest way to dispose confidential documents and help the environment!
Plus, all the proceeds are going towards Community Projects, such as Starfish Pack, feeding hungry children in Surrey.

What should I shred?
Consider disposing of financial information, legal documents, credit card receipts, medical records, contracts, office files, archive files and papers that you have electronic copies of. Remember retention rules before destroying any business records.
