Road Rally is a fundraiser held by the Rotary Club of Surrey to support families in the lower mainland.  Proceeds will go to both the local food bank and or the Surrey Rotaries own initiative, Star Fish.  Participants upon registration will be given a route to drive with their families which will take them on an adventure around Surrey.  At each stop there will be one game in which points will be given upon completion.  Whomever accumulates the most points upon completion of the route will win a prize.  The addresses for the proposed route are listed below.

NW corner of 160 St and 96 Ave. Parking lot southeast corner of parking lot; Basalt Motors.   16315 Fraser Highway.  East side parking area; Guildford Resource Center.   154 St East side between 102 A Ave and 103 Ave; Guildford Library.   Lincoln Drive and 105 St   Parking lot NW corner of library; Guildford Town Center. 105 Ave and 150 St NW corner of parking lot; Hjorth Road Elementary.  NW corner of 148 St and 104 Ave. Playground is NW of school building; Hawthorne Rotary Park 144 St and 105 A Ave. Picnic shelter; K B Woodard Elementary  13130 -106 Ave parking lot; Cindrich Elementary.  13455 -90 Ave.  Parking lot SE corner; BC Cancer Agency. SW corner of 138 St and 96 Ave . Park across the street north side of 96 Ave and walk to Cancer Agency sign on South side of 96 Ave; Quibble Creek. North side of 96 Ave between 138 St  and 139 St. Park under power lines north end of gravel parking lot.
 
Each location has a specific history with the Rotary Club of Surrey.  A pamphlet will be given out at the very beginning of the day to describe the club’s involvement with each location.
 
The approved games are as follows:  
  1. Trivia
  2. Paper airplane – make a paper airplane and throw it, points are given for the length it goes,
  3. Plinko – nails in a board and you drop a marble at top and see where it lands – points are for wherever it lands at bottom
  4. Tire roll – bicycle tire and they have to roll it down a field – points for wherever it lands
  5. Food for sale
  6. Darts – dart board on a piece of plywood – points for what they score
  7. Jelly beans in a jar
  8. A flag in a field – determine how far it is from a certain spot – points for how close
  9. Food in a hammock – for food bank or starfish
  10. Drop a coin into water and points are given if it lands in a shot glass at the bottom
  11. Using a water gun to hit plastic ducks and have points on bottom of ducks
  12. Skiball – roll a small ball down a piece of wood which hits a hump and throws the ball into the air and it lands on some holes with points allocated to them
  13. Bochy ball throw – hit the ball with a ball
  14. Ring toss
