PLANNING for the FUTURE

Surrey Mayor claims "The Future is here" Well for our Club it is not here but we are planning for it. Our April 10th. Meeting was to start the ball rolling in developing a sound membership increase and drop in average age. Unfortunately I was hospitalized that day but from the photos and notes from President Ajay we have a start.
The meeting focused on discussing various people who would make good Rotarians with several names being put forward. Additional names are requested from members. Thus, please read the local papers carefully for those who would make good Rotarians.
Susan suggested we come up with another "name" for this (Club Within A Club) Membership Drive, and she has been given that task
Since Playoffs are around the corner, and then the summer, it was decided that our "Membership Drive" Dinner / Presentation be done the 3rd week of September, with the list being massaged over the summer, and the invitation letter sent the first week of September and a follow-up phone call the second week of September. So keep your sights on prospective Rotarians that we can invite.
Here are some photos from the Night including a presentation to our good friend Josephine Watson who spoke to the club on a new venture she is involved in to help kids at risk. And what would a meeting be without the sgt at arms .
