NEW AMBULANCE FOR POKHARA-NEPAL

The excellent co-ordination of three clubs and Three Districts and Rotary International by Lal Baniya has resulted in the District of Pokhara in Nepal receiving a much needed Ambulance to serve their populace.
Rotary Club of Surrey in partnership with Rotary Club of Grovedale, Australia and Rotary Club of Pokhara Fishtail, Nepal providedan ambulance to Nepal Red Cross Society, Kaski Branch under TRF Matching Grant # 75342 of $15,350.00.The host club, Rotary Club of
Pokhara Fishtail handed over the ambulance to Red Cross Society amid a public function organized on 25 September 2011.
Poor population of society living in Pokhara and its outskirts, who rely on public hospitals for medical emergencies and treatment are
expected to be benefited from the project"
