Give a Kid a Muffin - Our Premier Literacy Program

 Once again the Give a Kid a Muffin program completed another successful year. This Program runs on fridays 10 am at City Centre Libarary.Young children in the Whalley area attend a reading program with their parents. They get a muffin and juice and are entertained by the Terrific Librarians at City Centre. Each child gets a book which is theirs to keep as part of the program.

Our Club has Sponsored this program since 2004 .It is a cornerstone of our Literacy programs.

Which we now have  expanded to include Young Adult Writing Contest and this year our delivery of Dictionaries to all the Grade 3 students in the Elementary schools that feed into Kwantlen Park Secondary.
