Looks like we have found a new avenue of service.. Community Gardens. "Give a man a Potato he will eat for one meal - Give a man a garden and he will eat forever" . At last weeks meeting we had a presentation and request form two ladies from Maxxine Wright Place they told the members about their facility and their involvement in Aboriginal Outreach work,
They expressed a strong desire/dream to have a Community Garden at their facility for the benefit of their clients.
They also invited us to visit and tour Maxine Wright Place starting at 1 pm on the afternoon of Wednesday July 25th. The address is 13739-92nd Avenue. Surrey.
