For a change of pace President John arranged for us to visit the Surrey Art Gallery and then gather at the Central City Brewery for food and refreshments and ROTARY Fellowship.

Although our turnout was lower than normal (Summer vacations taking its toll) We had an enjoyable evening.
As they say "Art is in the eye of the beholder" and there were certainly some works that flew right over my head.. But there were many great selections. If you were not with us you should take the time to go to the Art Gallery and see the work on display. Note:Surrey Art Gallery is the second largest public art gallery in the Metro Vancouver region. They have ongoing exhibits which will appeal to all tastes and may even open your eyes to new ideas.

In our fast growing and busy City we tend to miss what we have available to us for enjoyment. The Art Gallery is one of these opportunities.
We are the city of Parks so now with the long summer days it is a good time to get out and explore our City.
