The Rotary club of Surrey hosted the 13th annual Earth day event,  April 26, 2014,  We released 4,000 Chinook Salmon in Quibble Creek, Planted 20 Western red Cedars and enjoyed a Barbeque.  40 Rotarians  in  attendance and participating were three Rotary clubs, White Rock Semiahmoo, Surrey Central and The Rotary Club of Surrey.  It was a great event and  The feed back is that we should do it next year.
 
The White Rock Semiahmoo Club provided $600 for food, a tent and a portable toilet for the event. Special thanks to Ray Paquet.
The Surrey Central Club Provided Path supplies Bark Mulch for the fish release, $200 and  volunteers for creek clean up and cooks for the barbeque.

The Serpentine Enhancement Society re Tynehead Hatchery supplied 4000 Chinook Salmoneods. Special thanks to Carol Wright
