CONVERTING PROVINCIAL GAMING FUNDS into COMMUNITY PROJECTS.

On Tuesday March 4th. We had the distinct pleasure to share some of the funds we had obtained from the Provincial Gaming Commission. The first of our selected community services SURREY URBAN MISSION was represented by Jonquil Hallgate who accepted our check in the amount of $2,000 to assist them in delivering their programs to the homeless in Central Surrey. Jonquil told us the history of the mission and the expansive number of programs they deliver all completed by volunteers. They have been in operation for 14 years They serve weekly community meals on monday,wednesday and friday at noon and a saturday breakfast at 9 am.
