On Tuesday June 4th. we had the pleasure of a presentation from three representatives of the BC Securities Commission.Mike Murado Manager of Corporate Finance,Larissa Streu Senior Legal Counsel-Corporate Finance and Alan Mayede Senior Securities Analyst - Corporate Finance Division.

The British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) is the independent provincial government agency responsible for regulating securities trading in British Columbia through the administration of the Securities Act. Their Website is   http://www.bcsc.bc.ca

Their Powerpoint presentation followed by a Q & A session. Provided us with detail of the requirements under the securities Act as it relates to small businesses raising Capital to start or expand the enterprise. Bottom line is if your not sure ask. There are many exemptions for small businesses under 50 shareholders so in many cases raising capital is not to onerous from a reporting standpoint but it it better to check than be found to be in contravention  of the Securities Laws. Bottom line is if your not sure ask.

Gary Thind thanked the Trio for their very interesting presentation.
