Our speaker today is Vancouver Clinical Hypnotherarpist and Addictions Specialist, Jackie Mclean. Jackie's experience is inspirational for showing how we can rise above the hand we have been apparently dealt in life. Many of her clients are on their way to burnout. Stress seems to consume them. They reach for things like cigarettes and alcohol that help them feel good in the moment. Soon it’s a quiet addiction creeping up on them. Jackie promises that when you work with her, at the end of the day, you will overcome your addiction, get rid of the noises in your head, and move forward to finding out what happiness means to you Jackie works with people worldwide and invites you to a FREE confidential conversation. Rotary provides an opportunity for all of us to provide service to our community and throughout the world. With that service comes a learning experience in the areas of leadership, team building, planning, marketing, communication and organization that one can experience through participation in the Rotary Leadership/Learning Institute (RLI). RLI provides an opportunity to enrich that learning through sharing experiences and ideas with other Rotarians throughout our District. RLI is broken into three areas of learning. Leadership, Service and Membership. Although some of the courses may be offered in a slightly different sequence then shown here, the information gained will greatly enhance your Rotary journey. Level I will explore these topics: Insights into Leadership, Stragtic Planning, Team Building, Communication, Public Image, and Effective Leadership Strategies. Level II will build on what you learned in the first course, and expand on the Rotary Foundation, Service Projects. Targeted Service, International Service, Rotary Opportunities, and Making a Difference. Please make a note in the comments section if you have dietary restrictions. NO REFUNDS AFTER OCTOBER 21, 2019 LATE REGISTRATION FEE OF $75.00 AFTER OCTOBER 21, 2019

I have led SOS Children’s Village BC since 2013 and I am committed to improving the quality of life for the youth of British Columbia. I spent the previous seven years working with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Fraser Valley, B.C. Council for Families, and several other child focused social welfare organizations in that pursuit. I consider myself an entrepreneur having started my first company at age 11. I have been active in the not-forprofit sector as a development expert for over 30 years. As a Rotarian as well as founder, director, and member of over 30 non-profits, I have been active in a diverse range of organizations ranging from the Fine & Performing Arts to E-Commerce. |
