RIBFEST seemed to be the topic of conversation and the room was a buzz with enthusiasm .
Frank and Glen spoke about about the 50/50
Port Coquitlam Centennial Club and Langley came out to help sell 50/50 tickets. Thank you to them.
Monica and Susan did an outstanding job at the VIP area and Susan asked everyone to give President Allison our RIBFEST manager a standing ovation for her hard work and 'calmness' throughout RIBFEST. Well done !!
Mike who was the Judging manager did an outstanding job with our Judges as well as he talk to so many people and asked where they were from. Lots from the Tri-Cities but also from around the world. You are a great AMBASSASOR for RIBFEST Mike.
Winners: Boss Hogs - Best Ribs, Grizzly - Best Sauce.
Lots of kudos given to all but especially to our volunteers. We could never put on an event this size without our volunteers.
Darrell reminded us that our Youth Exchange girl, Victoria will be arriving in just 1 month. Darrell needs members to get their Police Check so that you can help with her while she is in our Club for 1 year.
Also Addie is leaving for Brazil for a year as our 'outbound' student.
