Our heartfelt congratulations and sincere thanks goes out to our Legacy Committee - Ian MacPhail, Darrell Burnham, Mike Poznanski, Victoria Nalugwa, Alan Schmelzel and Neil Nyberg! Their hard work, dedication, and vision have resulted in an agreement with the City of Port Moody that will benefit our club and the entire community for years to come.
Through this partnership, we are not only contributing significant funds toward an important community project, but we are also securing access to a wonderful space for our weekly meetings, fundraising efforts, community initiatives, and social events.
This achievement truly reflects the spirit of service and collaboration that defines our club.
We’re also thrilled that our club logo will be prominently displayed on the building—clearly visible from the street. This increased visibility will be an important step toward raising awareness of our club and strengthening our presence within the community.

Our special guest, Natsuki joined us on the Heritage Mountain Clean Up. Natsuki is an exchange student from Tokyo and is currently staying at Krista & Darrell’s home. Thank you for helping out Natsuki!
A great book club get-together on Tuesday with Vida hosting an absolutely lovely and truly outstanding charcuterie buffet. This buffet was no ordinary spread - these charcuterie boards were filled with lovely meats, various cheeses and scrumptious kebabs!
Our book this month was The Seed Keeper by Diane Wilson who writes about her Indigenous heritage emphasizing the struggles and triumphs of her people.
A big Thumbs Up for this book from our book club - highly recommend it to all!

Looking for volunteers to help with this event. HIP – Honouring Indigenous Peoples – a weekend bringing Rotary groups together with Indigenous youth. This event aims to foster reconciliation, environmental stewardship, and cultural understanding among Indigenous and non-indigenous youth across Canada for community well-being and advancing the next generation of leaders.
