Search for the Perfect Pint – Great Success. Thank you so much to Alan Kabatoff for taking this on. This was started many years ago with Past Member Trudy Gallant naming the Search for the Perfect Pint. Past Presidents Al S. and Peter were there from the beginning and it has become one of the great Community Events in Port Moody and a great fundraiser for us.
Rotary District Conference held at Mount Vernon– busy weekend! Great event - and this year’s conference’s focus was on Family. Families come in many forms – can be your nuclear family, and your work family, and also your Rotary family. A healthy family is an essential element to good mental health and a happy, healthy, well-functioning life. President Susan, President Elect Rick and AG Glen were in attendance on behalf of the Rotary Club of Port Moody.
Strawberry Sales Tri Cities Rotary Clubs in conjunction with the Abbotsford Rotary Club to bring you fresh strawberries. This project is coordinated by Malcolm Kennedy and Peter Muir is project lead for our club. All sales are online. The strawberries will be delivered to Canadian Tire, in Coquitlam on Saturday, June 15. Peter will need a couple of volunteers to assist with the delivery and distribution of berries on that date.
“Rotary Little Lending Library” at Old Orchard is back but needs some love . Gayle will ask the Men's Shed to please help fix it up. It looks like it was just thrown in the works yard and several pieces are broken off.

Heritage Mountain Clean UP – was on Saturday May 11th. A small but mighty team of 5.President Susan suggested that anyone that like to go and help 'clean up' next month, please be at Gallaghers at 8:45 as we leave at 9:00AM SHARP.

Rotary SHRED-A-THON June 1st - Thank you to all who will be there to help. It is always so much fun. Please let your friends and neighbours know about this event. We want to fill 2 trucks.
July 10th - Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation is looking for volunteers Mike Clay. This is a Fund raiser golf tournament & concert at the Westwood Plateau Golf Course. For more info and/or to register, please talk with Mike if you are interested in helping. It is a fun day.
Assistant Governor and member Glen spoke to us about Social Media and how we can 'boost' all of his posts just by liking and sharing. Please do this. Glen works very hard doing our Social Media and we need to help him out. Please #tag any of his posts as well.
