Neil is putting together teams to pick up, organize, and load equipment & supplies for the Belize project through Rotary World Help, Saturday February 07 from 9:00 to noon.
Please fill out Neil’s survey from his Jan.24th email and send your RSVP to neilnyberg @ shaw,ca.
 
 
Joan, Carmen, and Bill have been reaching out to schools, businesses and individual families to inquire if they are interested in making or collecting Valentines cards.  Last year, we obtained over 400 cards that were distributed to Eagle Ridge Manor, SHARE, Innervisions, the Starfish program, and seniors around Port Moody. So far this year there are 6 classrooms , several daycares, St James Well and Backyard Bird Centre that will be making and/or collecting the cards. The deadline is Monday, February 9th and will be collected from the schools and businesses. Individuals can bring theirs into Port Moody Rotary by Feb 9 so Carmen and Joan can distribute them. The citizens of Port Moody say THANK YOU!!

Educational Used Toy Drive – Saturday, Jan.31st! Organizers: Cleone, Trish, Monica, Susan
 
Looking for volunteers to help with this event.  HIP – Honouring Indigenous Peoples – a weekend bringing Rotary groups together with Indigenous youth.  This event aims to foster reconciliation, environmental stewardship, and cultural understanding among Indigenous and non-indigenous youth across Canada for community well-being and advancing the next generation of leaders.
