There is no better way than to have a Rotary Club of Port Moody meeting and induct two new members to our Club.
It was wonderful to see Martin Han and his wife Eunice there to support him and to top it all off, it was Eunice's birthday.
and also have Melissa Martensen join us as well.

Birthday's

Gary had a big birthday and we wish him many many more, Healthy & Happy years.

Gerry & Marlene celebrating their Anniversary

George B celebrating 25 years with our Rotary Club.

Ian won the wine 'again' and donated it back AND his number was drawn again.  I think he rushed out to buy a lottery ticket.

Friendship exchange
Years ago our Rotary Club of Port Moody did a friendship exchange to South Africa.
The ‘Eiland Huis’ South Africa Project – Update April 2025
Planned Friendship Visit to South Africa
- The Port Moody Club and the Melkbos Club are planning a Friendship Visit for Canadian Rotarians
involved in the project to South Africa. This will not be a formal Rotary Function.
- The Melkbos Club will host the Canadian visitors
- The visit will be about one to two weeks long, with preliminary dates as the third week of August (from abt. 17 August)
- The primary itinerary (organized by the Melkbos Club) will be:
- A visit to the Melkbos Club
- A visit to Cape Town (Kirstenbosch, Table Mountain, etc)
- A visit to the Eiland Huis in St Helena Bay (possibly overnight)
- A trip to view the Namaqualand Daisies, if the timing is right.
- A possible secondary itinerary (probably not organized by the Melkbos Club) may include:
- Travelling the Garden Route
- Visits to National Parks
Anyone interested in participating in the Friendship Visit, please contact Andy Berrisford berrisaj@outlook.com
