President Rick up to his gift giving again.  Where does this man find these gifts.  PP Susan was the recipient this week. Well done President Rick.

It is great to see Peter M back at Rotary after a very lengthy and sounds like amazing vacation.  He told us about some of the adventures he had and now we all want to go to NZ.

Past AG Al presented Peter M with a well deserved Paul Harris +1

On Saturday many members of the Port Moody Rotary family came together at Trinity United Church in Port Coquitlam to support our member Steve Witiuk celebrate the life of his late wife Lauralea.

Both the church and the service were beautiful and she was very touchingly remembered by her longtime friend Louella Klassen. Her niece, Shae Kovaltesenko, who has a beautiful voice, sang Amazing Grace, and Steve played a beautiful rendition of "Three time a Lady" on the piano. He is a very skilled pianist.

A reception was held after the service.

Not a great photo of Steve playing the piano, but wanted to mention one of the quilts that Lauralea made was on the piano.

Copied from President Rick - thank you

Past President Ian spoke about the Legacy project and that we will be hearing from the City of Port Moody  now sometime in April what they have decided.

President Elect Allison had a RIBFEST meeting on Tuesday night.  We still need someone to step up and work the Volunteer tent for the weekend.
Please contact Allison if you are interested in helping.

So I know it is called the Spirited Wine and Book Club but looks to me like mostly wine was consumed. Everyone wanted to help pick a white wine for their son's wedding.  Great idea.. So much fun !!!!  Thank you to Ian and Trish for being such great hosts.
