The Rotary Club of Port Coquitlam - Centennial is celebrating their 20th Anniversary with a party on Friday, February 28th at the Cat & fiddle Pub.
 
All Rotarians and friends, especially those of us from the tri-cities are invited and welcome to attend.  This will be a great way to connect with our Rotary friends in the tri-cities.

Polar Plunge was very successful.
We had great participation and are still counting the money raised. Rick will give us the final numbers this week

Directors meeting was scheduled Monday instead of the 3rd Monday as it was a holiday.

Joan gave out her report on the Valentine’s a total of 493.
Cleone spoke about the Environmental programs currently in place.

March 2nd - RIPs
Will meet at Pleasantside School.
Ivy Pull and invasive plants.  Bob & Gayle Carter will be leading this 'pull'
Camp Sasamat Youth leaders will help 
along with Innervisions.

March 6th - 12- 3 PM. - West Hill RIPSs being looked after by Brian

Victoria went with Cleone to Seaview Elementary School, planting of trees will be done by the students, our club will donate the equipment.

May 15th - Neil has a project with the Power Squadron for Shoreline cleanup 

Heritage Mountain cleanup was Saturday and looks like a great crew showed up.

Bill is going to be the Environment Chair next year.
 
Steve is doing very well.  Susan and Jim went to visit and Steve played the piano for them.  What a guy !!!!

Vida gave her report and we had  22 pages of stamps from the Super Store, which Super Store could not fill the order, so our club will donate $500. And Vida will check with the Soroptimists to see what we should get them to replace our commitment.

Glen reported that Jinsoo did a video of the polar plunge and put it on our website.

District Grants meeting will be attended by Allison and Victoria.

April 5th District Assembly in Surrey 8:30-3pm
We pay for 5 members to attend, so far we have Dan, Allison and Rick.  Please sign up, especially if you are new to Rotary.  You will be amazed by what you will learn.


Dan gave us a update on Rotary Help Network 
472 containers have been sent around the world.
23 to Ukraine
Currently there is a need for hospital beds.
RWH annual meeting is coming soon and Dr. Kathryn Ross is going to be guest speaker.
