November 30th - Cheer on the Pier - Great success

The festivities were set for 5:00pm -7:00pm. Just two Hours!!We had everything ready in really good time.
We started serving at 4:45pm and did not stop until 7:00pm. Which was lucky as we had no water left.
BOY WERE WE BUSY! Huge lines up all night long! Thankfully CLAYTON made two trips to get more hot water in our containers and had it boiling in his propane heater
HUGE THANKS to CLAYTON, to DANNE that was the chief mixer and didn't miss a beat when we need to refill our urn, to ALISON who was a tireless sever and handing out Marshmallows to all the children to TRISH who also was a tireless server, organizing our set up and also giving away Marshmallows to PETER M, who stood in-front of the line up taking Cash and Tap Donations. This was a really good idea which took that responsibility away from us Servers, so we could keep up with flow of the crowd to DANNE helping me set up, hanging our Rotary Sign, and most of all helping loading up my car at the he endto BILL who did what Bill is good at recycling clearing away many boxes etc. for the entire space at RK Point
What A TEAM -this is what ROTARY IS ALL ABOUT Helping others and getting to know each other better.

November 30th - Message of Hope
What a day!!! Thank you so much to our amazing community. The Rotary Club of Port Moody is so very grateful for all the donations for "Message of Hope' for Bea's Kloset run by the Soroptimist's. You have been more than generous and will make many woman very happy. It took 4 vehicles to take everything away. WOW !!!!
We really live in a wonderful community.

Wednesday - December 4th is the joint Christmas Party at the Boathouse. Please pay $31.00 at the door for your buffet breakfast. Wear your best/or worst Christmas attire. Always a fun meeting with the Rotary Clubs of the Tri-Cities. Thank you to Susan and Trish for organizing.
Friday - December 6th - Our Rotary Club of Port Moody's Christmas party at the Muir's. Please bring something to share and your beverage of choice.
Saturday - December 7th - Sold out concert of the Summer Sunday's R & B Allstars, The Last Dance.
Thursday- December 12th, - Our annual Innervisions Chili lunch. Please remember to bring your socks, toques, tooth paste and brushes to Rotary on Wednesday. Gayle & Trish will put the Christmas packages together for them men on Monday December 9th.
Friday - December 20th - CP Christmas train. Once again we will be giving away Hot Chocolate to our residents and if they wish they can give a donation to Share. Thank you 'again' to Peter for organizing and getting a great team together.
Tuesday - January 7 - Teams meeting for Belize training.

Susan, Alison and Mike C have organized the meetings so that those 'on line' will have a better experience and we had a great discussion that when someone speaks that they go to the 'mic'.
We know that the Club likes the Happy Dollars. President Rick will give Sgt. At Arms Darrell time each week for Happy Dollars. This is the time when our members can tell everyone what is going on in their lives whether it is 'happy' or we can give encouragement to them.
