It's all about Money

Thank you to Lauralea and Steve for the idea of giving Grant money to the Canadian Cancer Surrey a 'Vein Finder'. Steve told us about the difficulties so many patients have and how much this Vein Finder was needed. Our Rotary Club along with friends and family of Steve and Lauralea's and a couple of very generous donors, have made it possible to purchase 2 vein finders for Surrey Cancer Clinic.

Lauralea is on a very tough journey, so please keep her in your prayers.

Thank you to Sam Bourne for coming out to receive the cheque and to Steve's friend Richard Williams, to Gayle who is the Grant Committee chair for all the work she does to make this happen.

November & December are busy months for our extremely active Rotary Club.

Save the 'stamps' for Bea's Kloset when you shop at Super Store or No Frills. Please give them to Vida

November 23rd - Light Up Eagle Ridge Manor -9:00 AM - Please let Peter C know if you are attending

November 26th - RIBFEST meeting at the Balzer's. Please bring your beverage and something to share. 6:30 PM - everyone welcome. This is an important decision making meeting and we need all 'on board'. Thank you...

December 6 - Rotary Club of Port Moody's Christmas party at the Muir's home

December 12 - Innervisions Chili Lunch - Please bring, socks, toques, mugs, tooth brushes and paste for the small gift we give each man & come to volunteer that day. 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM

December 20 - CP Christmas Train - Hot Chocolate

Well, our books are finally in 'order'. Thank you to Peter M who has worked tirelessly on creating a new system that will make our Rotary books, cleaner and easier to understand. We are grateful for all who have helped him and for all the work he is continuing to do. AND we were VERY grateful to hear that he will not be just a one term Treasurer.

Nice to see Clayton out to our meeting again.
